A portrait of George, an old orangatang who died in captivity at Adelaide Zoo. The last time I saw him he was only a couple of feet away, on the other side of a window, looking out of his enclosure at the people looking at him, the look on his face the epitomy of depression. A wild animal, a long way from his home and his kind.
